What an amazing experience! Coming from San Diego, we weren't sure what to expect about Korean food scene in Orlando... but Surah completely blew us away. Before our main course even arrived, we were treated to the most delightful banchan, perfectly pickled radishes and peanuts in a savory soy sauce that we couldn't stop eating. Such a wonderful way to start the meal. For our main course we had the beef bulgogi and the extra spicy tofu with beef, and both were absolutely outstanding. The bulgogi was tender, smoky, and perfectly marinated, while the spicy tofu with beef packed serious heat with incredible depth of flavor- we kept going back for more even though it was fiery! Our server Christopher made the whole evening truly special. He was so warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, he even asked how the Korean food here compared to back home in San Diego, which was such a personal and thoughtful touch. 5 stars! Everything we ordered was so delicious. The braised beef bone was AMAZING — the meat was so flavorful and tender, and the potatoes inside were unbelievably good too, soft, sweet, and so comforting. The cold noodles were also excellent. The seafood tofu soup was also super fresh and flavorful. My mom literally said, “Please open a location in Chicago — Chicago needs this place!” The service was what made the experience even more special. My mom wanted the cold noodles with soup, but I saw reviews saying the spicy cold noodles were the popular item, even though they normally don’t come with soup. We almost gave up on trying it, but the waitress noticed and kindly asked the kitchen to give us a side of the spicy sauce so we could enjoy both styles. That was such a thoughtful touch and made us so happy. 😂 We took a 20–30 minute Uber ride just to come here, and honestly it was 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

My wife and I hadn't been to Surah in about a year and a half, so we were thrilled to finally make it back recently. I’m happy to report that they are absolutely still killing it! ​If you are looking for authentic Korean food in Orlando, this is hands down the place to go. Their banchan is, without a doubt, the best in the city. We loved our meal—my wife ordered the bibimbap and it was fantastic, and the seafood Korean ramen I had was incredible. It’s rare to find a spot that hits the mark on everything like they do. ​We are already planning our next visit and can't wait to bring all our friends along to share the experience. Highly recommended!

For my second visit to Surah, I came back with one goal in mind: try the dish we missed the first time and it did not disappoint. On my first visit, I had already fallen in love with their galbi, bulgogi, and crispy fried chicken wings, along with their incredible spread of banchan like kimchi, fish cake, radish, soy sauce peanuts, and bean sprouts. That experience alone was enough to bring me back. This time, I finally got to try the Surah Special: braised beef short ribs, and wow, completely worth the wait. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, and deeply flavorful with that slow-braised depth that just melts into every bite. It’s one of those dishes that feels comforting and indulgent at the same time. Another item that I also alway order is the Seafood & Green Onion pancake. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor from the seafood and fresh green onions. It paired perfectly with the dipping sauce and was the ideal appetizer to kick of any of the entrees or barbecue selections. If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Orlando, I highly recommend Surah on Dr. Phillips Blvd. We originally came in hoping to try the braised beef short rib special , but unfortunately it had already sold out for the night. Instead, we went with the galbi and honestly, no regrets at all. The galbi was perfectly marinated, tender, and packed with flavor. Easily a 5/5. We also ordered the bulgogi and fried chicken wings, and both were just as impressive. The bulgogi was savory, slightly sweet, and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely addictive. I give it a 4/5 One of my favorite parts of the experience was the banchan. The kimchi had the perfect balance of spice and tang, the fish cake was flavorful, the radish was crisp and refreshing, and the soy sauce peanuts and bean sprouts were the perfect complements to the meal. Every small dish added something special to the overall experience. Even though we missed out on the short rib this time, everything we tried was outstanding.
